The Hygiene on Wheels dental team is dedicated to making oral care more accessible to residents of all ages in the Detroit, Michigan area. Our mission is to provide dental care and oral hygiene education to underserved populations. We use a mobile dental van to bring top-notch dental hygiene services right to the doorsteps of people in our community.

Meet Deanna Alexander, RDH
Meet Deanna Alexander, RDH
Deanna Alexander is a Dental Hygienist trained in various areas such as soft tissue care, dental prophylaxis, periodontal management, sealant placement, pediatric care, and patient education.
She began her career after receiving her Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from Wayne County Community College District in 1990. She later returned to school, earning her Bachelor of Applied Science in Dentistry from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry, and Master of Arts in Education from the University of Detroit Mercy.
Deanna enjoys her work and loves having the opportunity to make a difference. One of her proudest achievements as a Dental Hygienist is her work to start Hygiene on Wheels in 2008.
